The Seafood Producers Association of British Columbia is the largest organization of wild seafood processors on Canada’s Pacific coast. The association was formed in 2009 as a non-profit, industry trade organization to represent companies engaged in harvesting, processing and marketing wild fish and seafood from British Columbia.
The Seafood Producers Association of British Columbia is an alliance of like-minded enterprises that share fundamental principles. As the voice of our members, we are committed to:
- promoting a sustainable resource to provide aconsistent supply of healthy, safe and delicious wild fish and seafood for Canada and the world;
- developing an economically sound industry to generate a net contribution to the Canadian economy;
- developing a market-driven, competitively structured industry to best meet the needs of our current and potential customers; and,
- supporting sales and marketing initiatives in existing and new markets to generate the best market opportunities for wild fish and seafood from British Columbia.
